Planning estimates
Calculator results are estimates based on the inputs supplied. Actual CCTV storage, recording time, bandwidth, PoE usage, field of view, and installation requirements can vary with hardware, firmware, scene activity, recorder behavior, network design, environmental conditions, and configuration.
Verify before purchasing or installing
You are responsible for confirming compatibility, capacity, electrical limits, network limits, local rules, and manufacturer requirements before purchasing equipment or carrying out an installation.

We aim to use transparent and technically reasonable formulas, but the tools are provided without a guarantee that an estimate will match every real-world system or vendor implementation.
